Goodbye global financial crisis, recessions and pending depressions!
Happy New Year y'all!
Dr Phil is my new hero. He wants me to go to the beach everyday with friends and eat blueberry muffins while walking my non-existent dog. Okay, well he didn't say that in matter of words, but what he did say to me (and about 2 million other viewers which I'll chose to ignore) is to have fun.
Today, while exercising my rite to be a sloth on the couch, I listened intently to Dr Phil's philosophy to life. He said that he only had two "jobs" for his sons in life (a bit lazy if you ask me!), these were to 1.) get an education and 2.) have fun in life. I know, I am not one of Dr Phil's sons, but it's implied that these are life jobs, that should be applied to all (me, mainly). Well, I have an education, so therefore one of my "jobs" is complete. So, all there is left to do is to just have fun.....do nothing else but have fun - who am I to argue with that?
So, I am spreading the word, have fun, and make time for it for 2010. Do the dishes really need to be washed tonight? Wouldn't it be better to drop everything and take time out to spend time with that special someone? Or get that early night's sleep you have been dreaming of all week? Make yourself happy, because you can't make anyone else happy unless you are.
The Secret Life of Marmalade's Return
Welcome to an private insight to my inner thoughts and feelings for 2010!
(Cue applause)
I love New Year's resolutions. I think because they give you a chance to renew yourself and plan a brand spanking new life each year. My New Year's resolution was to blog for 2010. So, hence, Marmalade's Return. I am banking on the fact that if I 'Dear Diary' every couple of days I am bound to have something extraordinary or profoundly exciting happen to me. Well, that's what The Secret (the book) tells me and you my lucky readers can cash in on knowing it first.
My sidekick project from this blog is to also discuss panic attacks and anxiety in order to defeat my 11 year battle with the angry beast.
