The Secret Life of Marmalade's Return

Welcome to an private insight to my inner thoughts and feelings for 2010!

(Cue applause)

I love New Year's resolutions. I think because they give you a chance to renew yourself and plan a brand spanking new life each year. My New Year's resolution was to blog for 2010. So, hence, Marmalade's Return. I am banking on the fact that if I 'Dear Diary' every couple of days I am bound to have something extraordinary or profoundly exciting happen to me. Well, that's what The Secret (the book) tells me and you my lucky readers can cash in on knowing it first.

My sidekick project from this blog is to also discuss panic attacks and anxiety in order to defeat my 11 year battle with the angry beast.

Exercise is not my friend

In being the true trooper that I am, I kicked started my new year with a bit of exercise on the treadmill. Little did I know that 2009 had robbed me of my fit body and replaced it with a body that has the energy of an eighty year old alcoholic woman. But not freaky eighty year old's body like the one on Coldplay's video clip of the Hardest Part (note, if you are yet to see this video, check it out on YouTube - Amazing!). (Note again, I don't think the old woman on the video clip is an alcoholic).

So I hobbled my body onto the treadmill and walked and walked and walked (yes, just walked - as I didn't want to scare myself off exercise so early on in the year. Lets face it, I would have concocted plenty of reasons not to excuses later in the year.

Anyway, the short of is, exercise is not my friend, and I'm not sure why were ever friends in the beginning.
